Florida Residents Blame Trump as More Solar Panel Companies Keep Declaring Bankruptcy: ‘He’s Totally in the Pocket of Big Oil’

While renewable energy has been something that many states have embraced, it seems that it isn’t working for Florida at all. Recently, many locals have noticed how several solar panel companies have declared bankruptcy, sadly leaving many customers in the dark, without proper solar panel maintenance or even some follow-up customer service. Among all of this uncertainty, people believe that Trump is the one to blame, as he has been against renewable energy sources for a long time.

We never saw this coming:’ Solar panel installers’ bankruptcies leave Central Florida homeowners in the dark: As solar companies fold, homeowners are stuck with panels and no support

An article by ClickOrlando mentions how some customers who decided to install solar panels in their homes in Florida have now been left in the dark, literally and figuratively, as these companies have started filing for bankruptcy.

Many might remember that Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill cut a huge percentage of the tax credit that solar panel companies had, meaning that some of these businesses were hit hard, with some of them walking on thin ice, as installations and even keeping the company afloat became more challenging.

While it didn’t seem like a big deal in the last few months, it has now become a grim reality, as many customers have lost their solar panel companies. Some locals have said that they have received e-mails from these companies, saying they filed for bankruptcy. Now, that is an unfortunate situation for those working for these businesses, but it is even worse for those who have a solar panel, as they don’t have the means to give it proper maintenance now.

Florida Residents Think Trump’s Push on Fossil Fuels is the Main Culprit

It isn’t news that Trump has been pushing hard toward fossil fuels, which eclipses those who want to look for renewable energy alternatives. So, the fact that some solar panel companies are closing all over Florida checks out, as it seems they don’t have a place in the state anymore.

“Look at who’s been in constant power for all that time, and it’s obvious why.“

“Trump stopped subsidies and tax breaks for installing solar power. He’s totally in the pocket of Big Oil.“

Others, however, blame the actual solar panel companies, as they claim they have been doing an aggressive push to install panels and don’t really care about the customer’s benefit.

“I’m a solar fan in Florida, but we were absolutely hammered with multiple pushy commissioned solar salespeople multiple times weekly. All were super obnoxious and pushy, which shuts me down. None got me sold.“

Ultimately, it seems that some local solar panel companies are still looking to do good for the abandoned customers, but it is still sad that so many companies that can actually help the environment are closing down.
