Many people in Florida might remember the Hope debacle. The situation where the DeSantis administration allegedly mishandled $10 million and supposedly used that money in a political campaign. As you know, this topic was sensitive and raised many alarms. However, it seems that things have gone quiet out of the blue because one seemingly DeSantis-appointed judge just erased the report about the $10 million controversy. Now, Florida Democrats and many other locals are shocked that such a controversial thing just disappeared out of nowhere.

Ruling makes Hope Florida an even bigger political issue a month before election

Today, a report by the Tampa Bay Times mentions how the recent Hope Florida case, which has been the talk of the state for a while, has suddenly gone quiet, per se.

According to the above information, a judge said that the case was a mistake and that it was wrong to declare that DeSantis or anyone in the administration had mishandled the $10 million.

Naturally, this shocked a lot of people, especially Democrats, as there was allegedly a lot of evidence pointing to the money being sent to Hope Florida and then used for other means, mainly of the political kind.

Unfortunately, it is now DeSantis who is calling for a criminal investigation, as he says that the information was leaked illegally. Of course, this new narrative hasn’t sat well with people. The majority are still sour about learning of the $10 million, which, as many have already said, is a lot of money that shouldn’t have gone to a political campaign. But now, many also believe that the reason why this case is disappearing is because of the upcoming elections.

Florida Locals Think This Is Another Political Stunt Ahead of the Elections

Several Redditors have already taken up online arms and criticized the judge’s decision, as well as doubted DeSantis for appointing the judge who made the recent claims.

“MAGA judges doing what they have always done.”

“I’m just flabbergasted that people simply can’t put two and two together.“

Despite many seeing these actions as something questionable, especially coming from the Republican side, they still think that party might win in the upcoming elections.

“All incumbents and Donalds will win, and we’ll continue being a deep red uneducated electorate.“

Still, there’s plenty of time before the elections, and many believe that the Hope Florida situation might work against Republicans, especially DeSantis and his administration, which has been under fire lately.
